Emerging from Sacramento and the Bay Area in 2024, Echo Set blends post-rock, psychedelic, shoegaze, art rock, surf, and experimental rock with elements of electronica. Their sound is spacious and melodic, with cinematic and dark textural elements, featuring rhythms that range from introspective to driving.

Following his time in the darkwave electro-industrial band Scar Tissue, Phil expanded his work across psychedelic rock, electronica, ambient, Americana, shoegaze, post-rock, and art rock.
